DOCXWebsite

WORD DOCUMENT → REAL WEBSITE

Your document.
Now a website.

Transform a DOCX into a polished, searchable and installable website—complete with navigation, cover, icons, offline access, optional encryption and a Netlify-ready ZIP.

If you can create a document, you can create a website. Write in Microsoft Word, Apple Pages or your preferred word processor, save or export it as DOCX, and DOCXWebsite handles the web conversion.

THE BUILDER

From document to website in four steps.

Start with the document you already have. Nothing leaves your browser.

Your website will appear here

Upload a DOCX and the builder will turn its headings, text, lists, links, images and tables into a responsive web page.

EVERYTHING INCLUDED

Far more than a DOCX-to-HTML converter.

01

Drop in Word

Use the document you already have. Heading 1 becomes major website sections and Heading 2 creates sub-sections.

02

Preview & style

The builder turns document structure into searchable, responsive web content. Add one image for an opening page and automatic site icons.

03

Take your website

Download a static website ZIP or a single HTML file. Host it wherever you choose.

SEE THE RESULT

One builder. Very different websites.

Books, courses and business documents retain their useful structure while gaining website navigation, search and offline access.

WHAT IT CREATES

A finished website—not a pile of converted text.

DOCXWebsite interprets the document you already understand and packages the web features that normally require several tools and technical decisions.

01

Structured

Headings become navigation while tables, lists, links, captions and images remain useful.

02

Discoverable

Responsive metadata and full-document search are generated automatically.

03

Installable

Icons, manifest and offline files are included for phones, tablets and computers.

04

Portable

Download a static ZIP that can be hosted on Netlify or another static web host.

05

Private

Your DOCX is processed locally. Optional AES-GCM encryption protects exported content.

06

Yours

No account, hosted project lock-in or dependency on DOCXWebsite after export.

BUILT FOR REAL DOCUMENTS

Use what you already know how to create.

YOUR FILES, YOUR HOST

Put your website online

  1. Download your Website ZIP.
  2. Open Netlify Drop and drag the ZIP directly into the deploy area.
  3. Netlify will publish the site and give you a shareable address.
  4. Open the published site once while online so its offline files can be saved.
  5. Add your own domain later if you want one.

Updating later: edit the original DOCX, rebuild the website, and deploy the replacement ZIP to the same Netlify site. A custom domain is optional; you can use the Netlify address or share it with a QR code.

Protected websites: encryption controls ordinary access but is not DRM. A permitted reader can still copy material or share access.
