Use real heading styles
Heading 1 creates major website sections and Contents entries. Heading 2 and lower levels establish hierarchy within those sections.
Keep formatting meaningful
- Use Word list controls for numbered and bulleted lists.
- Use real hyperlinks for websites, email and telephone actions.
- Insert images at a practical size and add captions when helpful.
- Keep tables reasonably narrow for phone screens.
- Use bold, italics and block quotations for emphasis—not layout.
If a document has no dependable title or headings, DOCXWebsite falls back gracefully, but a structured source produces the strongest navigation.
