Open the hosted site in Safari, tap Share, choose Add to Home Screen and confirm Add.

Mac

Open the site in Safari, choose File, then Add to Dock.

Android, Windows and other browsers

Use the browser’s install icon or menu option named Install app or Add to Home screen.

Offline files ready means the service worker has cached the website. Installed app appears only when the site is actually running as an installed app.
