Better than searching a long attachment

Headings become Contents navigation, the full handbook becomes searchable, and policies remain readable on phones, tablets and computers. Staff can install the site for convenient access and supported offline use.

Material that fits well

A practical publishing workflow

  1. Organize major policies with Heading 1 and subsections with Heading 2.
  2. Remove obsolete revisions and information that should not be broadly published.
  3. Convert and preview the DOCX locally in the browser.
  4. Publish the downloaded ZIP under an organization-controlled address.
  5. Update the original DOCX and redeploy whenever policy changes.
Use the right system for sensitive records. A handbook website is useful for general policy reference, but it is not an HR records platform. Do not include employee-specific, medical, payroll or other protected information.
